The Adjutant General for the State of Nebraska spoke to members of Grand Island's Rotary Club yesterday about a number of projects and issues facing Nebraska's National Guard and state communities for their support.
General Daryl Bohac spoke with KRGI News and when talking about the new National Guard Readiness Center in Grand Island, he says the project is proceeding on schedule.
Bohac says, "We're a little over halfway through that project and it's going to be a 90,000 square foot readiness center, the second largest in the state. And its going to be great state-of-the-art facility for our aviation battalion that is stationed there."
Bohac says he expects the facility to be completed sometime next year.
