Three People Charged In Convenience Store Robbery

Geoffrey Raymond Adamson Kyle M Christen Shaylee N Brown

Three people were arrested by the Hall County's Sheriff's Office in connection to the robbery that occurred at the Git-N-Split located near the 8900 block of South Alda Road several weeks ago.

Hall County Sheriff Jerry Watson says 19-year-old Kyle Christen from Grand Island, 18-year-old Shaylee Brown and 20-year-old Geoffrey Adamson, both of Hastings have been charged.

All three appeared in Hall County Court Thursday and all were charged with one count of robbery.

Prosecutors say on August 29th shortly after 1AM, two people entered the convenience mart, brandished a handgun and demanded money.

The clerk gave the suspects the money and the prosecutors say the suspects made off with over $800.

The Hall County Sheriff's Office learned through an informant that Brown, Adamson and Christen may have been involved.

Judge Phillip Martin set bond at $50,000 and all three had their preliminary hearings set for October 29th.
