A man who threatened his neighbors with a handgun after an argument near the 300 block of South Pine Street Sunday was arrested by Grand Island Police and now faces a number of charges.
Captain Kerrey Mehlin tells KRGI News that Jorge Luis Toldeo-Sanchez threatened a husband and wife inside of the apartment complex because prior disagreements.
Police were then called and when officers arrived, they found Toledo-Sanchez outside of the complex...having jumped from a window three stories down to the pavement. He was taken to the hospital for further treatment.
Toledo-Sanchez appeared in court Monday and faces several charges including possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine, making terroristic threats and others.
Toledo-Sanchez also interrupted Hall County Judge Phillip Martin several times taking issue with the charges against him, even saying he didn't want a lawyer.
A Public Defender was later appointed, after the charges were read. Bond was set at $100,000 – 10% and preliminary hearing is set for November 25th.
