Despite the cold weather this weekend, the Hall County Supervisor who will stay in the Courthouse's Bell Tower still plans to tough it out in order to promote and advocate for local Korean War Hero Flights.
Gary Quandt will head into the Bell Tower at 4:00 Friday. He plans to stay up there for 65 hours in order to raise almost $60,000 to send two flights to Washington next year.
If you would like to donate the Hall County Hero Flights, you can drop off your donations at Five Points Bank, Skagway, KRGI Radio or in front of the courthouse this weekend. Quandt will come down from the tower Monday Morning.
