High Speed Chase Tuesday Ends With Arrest

A man wanted for attempted murder in South Dakota led Howard County Sheriff Deputies in a high-speed chase Tuesday night which ended when the suspect was taken into custody.

Howard County Sheriff Harold Schenck tells KRGI News that 53-year-old Conway Archambeau was arrested after the county's 911 Center received a call of a reckless driver traveling south on Highway 281.

A Sheriff's Deputy attempted to pull over the vehicle, but the driver did not stop...with speeds reaching up to 100-mph.

The Nebraska State Patrol eventually deployed spikes in Hall County to shred two of the suspect's tires, bringing his vehicle to a stop.

Archambeau was taken into custody and faces numerous charges in Howard County and in South Dakota.
