This year's continuing saga pertaining to the Central City School Board took another twist Monday night, this time after a 53-minute closed executive session involving the Superintendent's future.
The Central City School Board voted unanimously to allow the superintendent's contract to run through the 2014-2015 school year...after which she will leave the district.
During the closed meeting, the board and Superintendent Candace Conradt came to an agreement that will allow her to depart in late June of 2015.
Conradt did not accompany the board after the closed session. When asked why she did not reappear, Board President Dale Palser said her presence was no longer required at the meeting and she left.
Palser and other board members refused to comment on microphone, saying more information would come out Tuesday.
Also at last night's meeting, the board voted unanimously to set the school board recall election of Kent Malm on January 14th.
